Chickadee
| Breed: | DSH - Tabby |
| Color: | Gray and White |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | March 31, 2009 |
Chickadee will play with anything and will eat anything! He enjoys using his rope scratching post and climbing cat condos. He likes going out on the screened-in porch to watch the birds and squirrels. He would love a new home with a screened-in porch or sunroom to lie in. Chickadee has a lot of love to give and wants a lot of love in return. Won’t you open your heart to him?
Delilah
| Breed: | DSH - Tortie |
| Color: | Black, Orange and White |
| Sex: | Female |
| DOB: | April 29, 2009 |
"Lilah" would probably do best in a home with at least 1 other cat or a calmer dog. With her sweet, loving nature, she would be great with kids. If you are looking for a 'lap cat' and one who will snuggle with you in bed at night and show you love back by her loud purrs, Lilah would be a great girl for you to bring into your home.
ET
| Breed: | DSH - Tabby |
| Color: | Orange |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | March 15, 2009 |
E.T would be great as an only cat or as a companion for another kitty. Although he's technically still a kitten, he's always been more on the calm side - so he still likes to play, but not with the typical kitten energy. He likes to play with the laser light and chase after furry mice. He also likes to watch the birds and squirrels outside while sitting in his kitty perch. Please won't you take him home to be the newest member of your family ?
Finch
| Breed: | DSH |
| Color: | Mackerel Tabby |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | March 31, 2009 |
Finch will play with just about anything, but seems to like the wands with feathers on the end best. He is a healthy eater and enjoys treats and lunchmeat throughout the day. Once you get to know Finch his personality really comes out. Finch really enjoys hanging out on the screened-in porch each day. He would be a great addition to your home, so won’t you give him a chance?
Indigo
| Breed: | DSH |
| Color: | Black |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | April 3, 2009 |
Indigo and his sister Violet are the only surviving kittens of a litter of five that were left in a creek to die. Having been rescued from the creek he is a very sweet boy but just a little shy around new people. Once he knows a person he is as loving as they come and very playful. He has a purr motor like a buzz-saw and gives sweet kisses along with love nibbles. He loves dogs as well once he knows that they are friendly. He gives them and receives their kisses freely. He is micro-chipped, neutered, vetted and vaccinated. He is a little boy that would fit into any household looking for love and playfulness.

Midnight
| Breed: | DSH |
| Color: | Black |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | May 29, 2009 |
Helllooo! I'm Midnight. That's because I'm black but if you look really close you can see I have a handsome white locket on my chest. I think it's stylish don't you? By now you may noticed my purr machine. Awesome huh? I love to purr. I purr all the time. I'm a very happy fellow.
My favorite hobbies include getting petted, playing, napping with my best friend Buddy and my brother Shadow, watching people, looking out windows, and just enjoying life. I'm curious about everything so get ready – I'll be inspecting your pockets for treats and toys. Did I mention toys? I love pipe cleaners, mylar balls and that whirly ball thingey. But I think just about anything can be a toy including your keys, shoelaces, jacket zipper. I'm very creative.
I get along great with humans and cats. I'm not sure how I get along with dogs or kids because I haven’t lived with any but I'll probably do fine. The nice folks at Hobbes House said they would help introduce me to dogs and kids if they live at your house. Sometimes I'm a tiny bit shy but it doesn't last long especially if you have a treat or a toy. My best friends in the whole world are my foster brother Buddy and my real brother Shadow. I like to stand under Buddy’s chin until I'm sure it's safe to play.
My fosters say I'm going to be the best pet anybody ever had. I think I’'ll be more than a pet – I'll be the fellow who lights up your day and makes you laugh. My purr will sooth your stress and my silliness will make you smile. If you fall in love with me – and you will – adopt me! While you're at it, do you think you could adopt one of my friends (Buddy or Shadow) too? After all – cats are like potato chips…you can’t have just one.
Mocha II
| Breed: | DSH - Tabby |
| Color: | Gray |
| Sex: | Female |
| DOB: | April 19, 2009 |
Mocha and her brother Sunshine (along with their timid mother) were left to fend for themselves in front of someones house. People could tell this house had cats already so they probably assumed they would be safe there. As you can see Mocha is very beautiful, but also tends to be a pretty shy like her mom. She will need a low activity home to go to, with people who will give her the time she needs to learn she is safe and loved. She is nervous when held, but we're making progress (she can be held a little bit at a time and is getting better about it all the time). She would be a wonderful addition if the right people give her the chance she needs. She hasn't kicked in her purr motor yet, but hers will be sweet. She is micro-chipped, spayed, fully vetted and vaccinated. This little girl really needs a loving, understanding and tender home to develop. Is yours that home?

Quinn
| Breed: | DSH - Tabby |
| Color: | Orange and White |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | August 31, 2009 |
Quinn and his brothers and sister were born in the woods behind an apartment complex. A kind person managed to trap them all and not a day too soon for little Quinn. It quickly became obvious that while the others were active and healthy, Quinn was in trouble. It turns out that something must have fallen on him and crushed his pelvis. He was unable to walk or get around normally. He was so skinny and painful that he probably wouldn’t have survived another day in the woods.
Now, after receiving veterinary care and lots of rest, Quinn is an active, happy kitten with an unbelievable personality. Nothing gets him down. He loves to snuggle on the couch and watch movies or help out with the chores. He’s full of energy and he never meets a person, cat or dog that he doesn’t love (even if they don’t love him.) He’s very social, but he’s also a good sport about spending time alone. He travels well in the car and is pretty comfortable just about anywhere.
Quinn has recovered from his traumatic injury and is able to run and jump around like a normal kitten. He does need a little bit of special care, though too make sure he stays healthy, happy and pain free. He eats a diet of canned food mixed with a little water and Miralax to keep him from getting constipated. Also it is important that he isn’t allowed to overindulge and become overweight. His pelvis has healed solidly and shouldn’t cause him any pain as long as he stays at a healthy weight as an adult.
Quinn is an amazing little guy and he will make a wonderful friend for someone willing to see to his special needs. He will be happy in a home with other cats, dogs or children. If you give Quinn a chance you’ll be glad you did!
Robin
| Breed: | DSH - Tabby |
| Color: | Gray and White |
| Sex: | Female |
| DOB: | March 31, 2009 |
Robin loves to play with anything and loves her rope scratching post. She has beautiful eyes that almost look orange in her pictures. She is a shorthaired tabby and the smallest of her siblings. I don’t think she will be a huge cat, possibly about 10 pounds. She loves attention and wants to go to a home where she will not be ignored. Robin has a lot of love to give for the right person. If you give Robin a chance you will not be disappointed!
Sparrow
| Breed: | DSH |
| Color: | Black and White Tuxedo |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | March 31, 2009 |
Sparrow is a big boy already and will probably be a big kitty when he is full-grown. He loves to eat and looks forward to his wet food and snacks throughout the day. He is very well behaved when he is getting his nails trimmed and seems to have a very easygoing personality. Sparrow is a sweet boy looking for his forever home. Stop by a thon and check him out! He would love to go to a home with a screened-in porch to check out the birds!
Sunshine II
| Breed: | DSH - Tabby |
| Color: | Orange |
| Sex: | Male |
| DOB: | April 16, 2009 |
Sunshine and his sister Mocha (along with their mother) were left to fend for themselves in front of someone's house. People could tell this house had cats already so they probably assumed they would be safe there. Sunshine is a little timid at first, but comes around quickly and wants people's attention. He is one of the gentlest kittens ever, giving very soft kisses and loves to cuddle with you ! His purr motor can be felt more than heard, but trust me it will melt your heart. His is micro-chipped, neutered, vetted and vaccinated. This little boy would fit into any household with love and tenderness. Please won't you take him home with you?
