"Finding Every Cat Their Forever Home"

Application Process

Our goal is to find wonderful  forever homes for all of our kitties.  Just as your 'ideal kitty'  will vary from other family's, our kitties have 'ideal' homes in mind too.  Some can go anywhere, others would like a quieter home or one with other kitties.  To this end we'd like to get to know you, your home and what you are looking for in a kitty so that we can help you find the right kitty(s) for your home!

There are 2 ways you can go about meeting and adopting our kitties...

1. Fill in an Application and become 'pre-screened' then meet our kitties and see which one you fall in love with.  If you want to take a kitty home from an adoptation, this is the option to go with.  

•  Fill in an application.  Or e-mail us   FosterKitties@gmail.com and we'll send you one!  

• Upon receiving your application, one of our trained counselors will review it.  You'll get a chance to tell us about  your home environment, what animals  you currently have, and what type of kitty(s) you're looking for!! 

• If you have had pets, we will need to do a vet check reference before we can approve your application.

• If you rent your home or apartment, we will need to verify that you are allowed pets on the premises, and have or will pay the pet deposit.
• Once your application has been pre-screened you can meet our wonderful cats and kittens at an adoptation or via private appointment.  Please note, not all kitties go out each time.  If you are interested in a particular cat or cats - let us know so we can be sure to bring them out!  We do ask that you have all of your family members with you when picking out the new addition to your home. 
•  If it is determined by the counselor and the foster home that the selected animal is a good match  it is possible for the kitty to go home with you that day!

2.  Meet the Kitty then put in an application

• You can go out to one of our adoptathons and meet the kitties we have out that day.  Please note, not all kitties go out each time.  If you are interested in a particular cat or cats - let us know so we can be sure to bring them out!  

• If you fall in love with a kitty you'll need to fill in an application, which will take a few days for us to process.  While we are processing your application, the kitty is considered to be 'application pending' which means that other people can put in an application, but that you would be 'first in line' to adopt the kitty as long as your application is approved.
