All of our cats and kittens have been spayed/ neutered, tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, have been dewormed, and are up to date on their vaccines. Our adoption fee is $100 for non-microchipped cats and $115 for microchipped kitties; which covers these basic medical procedures. We also provide any other necessary medical care to insure all of them are healthy and ready to fill your home with love.

Our animals currently live in foster homes where they are cared for, loved and nurtured until they find their new forever home with you. If you are interested in meeting any of our kitties, please contact us at FosterKitties@gmail.com

I know, you must be saying “that’s a big cat “! In my previous home I was free fed and ate all day long. As much as I enjoyed it, I am now in the process of dropping weight. I have lost 2 lbs. and working on losing more. I love living in my foster home. I get to run around the house and play with all the toys! I have little toy mice, this thing with a feather on it, and something with a mouse on a stick!

I LOVE attention. I lay down and wait for humans to pet and rub me. There is nothing better than having humans rub my face, head and back. I get along great with other cats and don’t mind being held at all.

When human companions are not around I love to jump up in a cat climber and look at the window. Don’t let my size fool you, I can get around and jump high!

A side note - we rescued Little Cloud when she was a tiny 2 week old bottle feeding kitten! She was adopted as a kitten and then returned to us (the young girl in the house 'lost interest' ). Bottle fed kitties are really wonderful cats!

Hello, allow me to introduce myself I am "Sir Hunter". I was just 'Hunter' until I came into Hobbes House, they already had a Hunter in their program so I was knighted so to speak!

My former family was in the military - they were transferred overseas and couldn't take me with them :-( It's all a bit confusing to me. I like my foster home, but I do miss my family. My foster dad, Dan is a nice guy but he keeps taking me out to adoptathons and they're no fun!

So I'm searching for a new forever family. Let me tell you a bit about myself. I'm a great cat, if I do say so myself. I love attention, I'll purr quite happily when you are loving on me - I just adore being petted. I also love to rub my face against yours. Want to pick me up and carry me around - that's great - it means more attention for me!

I get along really well with people (of course) and other cats. My previous family had small children - they liked to pick me up and carry me around - which is fine by me. I like kids.

Overall I'm a very sweet boy, a total love in fact. So ... are you my future forever family? If so please hurry up and adopt me, my bags are packed and I'm ready to go home!

Let me be blunt - I'm looking for a lap to fill. That's right, I want someone to let me sit in their lap and love on me. I love to be petted and have my head scratched. Sometimes I'll rub up against you to remind you that I need petting.

I'm an adorable small cat, with a really slender tail - it kind of gives me a unique look :-)

I really like dogs (even the crazy 50 lb puppy that lives in my house) and I like other kitties - even if they're in 'my' lap. You see I'm a sweet kitty that doesn't want to cause any trouble. If someone else is sitting in my human's lap I'll just curl up next to the other kitty or right up against my human's leg. Anything to be close to people.

I like everyone even kids! So if you've got an empty lap that needs filling ... look no further - I'm your gal!

Beautiful Snickerdoodle is a stunning tortie. She's almost golden in color! Snickerdoodle has a long body and tail giving you the long lean impression. She has all black whiskers except for one white one. I know it sounds like a strange thing to mention but it's really quite cute to see that single white whisker on her !

Snickerdoodle isn't just a beautiful kitty - she's got a great personality to match. Snickers (as we call her around the house) is a smart kitty she's figured out how to position herself to get the most attention. She loves to be petted and will make sure she's in a good 'spot' so you can conveniently love on her. If I'm petting another kitty she'll run on over to join in. If I'm walking around the bedroom she'll hop up onto the bed so it's 'easier' for me to pet her. Smart girl!

Snickers loves other kitties and likes to be loved on by anyone with a hand. She is however a little slower to adjust to new surroundings. Once she feels at home you can see what a love she is. Sometimes kitties that adjust slower make the best friends!!

Juliet - a beautiful name for a beautiful cat! Juliet is just stunning with her beautiful soft medium length fur and her adorable coloring. But she's not just another pretty face - she's a love too!

Juliet came into us pregnant and wanting nothing more than tons of affection and nice place to live. She gave birth to handsome "Mickey Mouse" and his sweet little sister "Minnie Mouse". Off topic we were going to go with a "Lost" theme with the kitten names "Jack" and "Kate" but Mickey's unique face changed that plan!

Juliet adores attention - she is 'all about' being loved on and even picked up and held. Juliet gets along really well with kids. She's a nurturing soul - we separated her from her kittens (so they could wean) and let her hang out with some other older kittens. She's their mother figure. Juliet is OK with other adult kitties but would love to be an only cat and have all of the human attention focused on her!

If you are looking for a beautiful loving girl - Juliet just might be the love of your life!

I've been in rescue for some time now, and while I love each and every one of my fosters, some are just extra special to me. Livingston is just such a foster. He came in with 3 siblings all of whom adjusted more quickly than he did. Livingston was on the shy side. It's so amazing to see him today. He's gone from hiding behind the toilet to jumping on my lap while I'm on the computer and refusing to take no for an answer. I find myself loving on him simply stunned at how far he's come and trying to explain (to him) that I need to get the website updated ....to which he responds by helpfully sits on my computer table within easy petting range. Such a smart boy!

Livingston really likes to have his head scratched, his tummy rubbed and to be petted in general - he is 'all about' affection. In fact you'll often find him rubbing up against your legs 'hinting' for more lovin'! Expect lots of PURRING from this sweet boy. And he likes to be picked up and held - what more can you ask for in a kitty?!

Livingston will probably take longer than the average kitty to feel comfortable in a new home. He needs a family that is patient and willing to give him all of the time he needs to feel 'at home'. Livingston would prefer a home without small children. IMO he would run from them - a bit too active for his taste.

Livingston gets along well with other kitties, although I think he would be very happy as an only kitty. He's not afraid of our dog or puppy at all!

Hershey's Kiss (check out the shape on his nose) is as sweet as his namesake. He's a cuddly boy that just loves attention!

Hershey (as we call him around the house) loves other kitties, doesn't mind our dog and even likes kids. He's an outgoing laid back love of a boy!

Hershey just adores being picked up and held - in fact he puts his arms around your neck and then sort of melts into you when you're holding him. It's a wonderful feeling that will warm your heart every time you pick him up.

Expect Hershey to come running whenever you want to love on him - he's motivated by attention.

Hershey is long and lean - so he's not going to be a big kitty - he's full grown already. If you're looking for a petite love, who likes to be held and adores attention in general - look no further than this handsome boy!

Hey hey hey…. Look at me!!! My name is Charlie. I am a beautiful all black cat that LOVES to be pet. You may not see it here, but in my foster home (where I am more comfortable) I follow my parents around and beg for them to rub me. Once they start I roll on my back and have them rub my face, chest, back and stomach! I start to purr and will stay there forever. You should hear my purr, it is so loud…. I love attention! I am very much a cat that likes to be next to my owner. I do well with kids but I am not a big fan of other cats. I love to sleep next to you on the bed or lay between your legs on the couch. When my foster parents are not home, I lay in the sunlight or watch the birds out the window.

Look at this beautiful Grey cat! Her name is Crystal. She is a very loving cat. She loves to walk back and forth and rub up against toes and feet when you sit in a chair. You can scratch her head or pet her as much as you want. She enjoys playing with cat toys (I chase this rubber ball in a round thing and spin it over and over) and gets along well with other cats. She has not quite grown into being a lap cat, but has not had much time to explore people’s laps either.

She loves to look outside, or rub on any catnip toy! Often you can find Crystal looking through the railing of the steps at our house. Her cute little face looking over the edge as people and animals walk by. She is good with kids but is not fond of being picked up and held for long. If you are looking for a loving, sweet cat that will love you back, she is the one!

Tika is a stunning dilute calico who just loves attention. From day one she was a total love! When she came in she was very pregnant – she’s done a great job raising her babies and now she’s ready for a home of her own!

Tika likes to be picked up and held and will hang out with you endlessly if you love on her! Tika will even let kids pick her up and carry her around. She’s just a great cat!

Have you checked out my 2 different eye colors? Doesn't that give me a unique look? Well here's the good news - that's not even the best thing about me - I'm a total love to boot!

I just adore affection - go ahead pet me! You don't need to stop just keep going. I love that....lots and lots of attention just for me!

Did I mention I'm a Princess? It's true and as a Princess I need lots of attention (oh did I mention that before?)! I like other kitties as long as they respect my princess status. Sometimes I need to hiss at them to remind them of "who" I am. Of course I adore the idea of being an only kitty and having all of the love/ attention lavished upon me.

Can you imagine someone actually left me behind in an apartment? What were they thinking?

Hello. My name is Rosella (but you can call me Rosie) and I am the sweetest kitty ever. I am a very special girl. I have 4 white paws and a white chest and tummy...but the rest of me is a diluted torbie - I am truly beautiful!

I LOVE attention. I have very loud purrs and I will snuggle very closely with you. I have also started a new trick with my foster mom that I like to do...sometimes when she's sitting on the couch, I like to sit on her shoulders and get my face just as close to hers as I possibly can. I will even give you sweet nibble kisses ever so gently just to tell you how much I like you. Naturally I'm a lap kitty - I like nothing better than to cuddle up on you.

This next part is kind of sad ... when I was found, my collar was growing into the fur on my neck - I was abandoned, alone and hungry...but still so very sweet! As you can see by my 'pink ribbon', I am a survivor of cancer. During my spay surgery, they found a small mass, and although they don't really call it breast cancer when found in kitties, that's what it was. The surgeon did a great job in getting the tumor ... it was on the small side (less than 1 cm) which is good for my prognosis. They also verified that the area around the tumor was cancer free, so they were sure they removed it all. Although they can't guarantee that the cancer won't return, the fact that it was small and completely removed do side in my favor.

I will make you a wonderful new friend and companion. Please give me a chance. You will be so glad you did!

I adore being held; especially leaning on your shoulder - anything as long as I'm in your arms! I'll also rub around your legs and curl up next to you, looking to have my head and shoulders rubbed - I'm a real love.

In case you haven't noticed I have wonderful soft silky fur (even if I do say so myself)

I'm called BobTale because well, I have a Bobtail but I wasn't born that way so I'm "Bob with a Tale". And don't worry my tail was injured when I was younger, but it's okay...it doesn't hurt me. And it doesn't look 'icky' but if you run your hand down it (go ahead I don't mind) you can feel it's rather twisted and obviously a lot shorter than it should be.

I'd love to be an only kitty - lots of attention just for me. But I do like other kitties they're fun to play with. There are dogs living in my foster home - they're OK but I don't play with them because I've got other foster kitties and humans (!) to play with (that is when I'm not 'busy' lounging around). Yup, I'm a laid back boy who just loves to nap on the bed. Come on by and pet me or rub my tummy - I'm all about that plan. Want to pick me up and cuddle for a bit ? I'd love that!

Hi there, my name is Claude. As you can see I am a big boy! I love to lay around and look outside at the birds.

I am a complete love and enjoy being loved on. You can scratch my back or rub my head and watch me roll over and purr. I can't get enough attention!! There is nothing more I enjoy than spending time with people and having us love each other. When I am ready I jump up and will lay in your lap to sleep a bit.

I'm a great companion, and will hang on your every word, purring affectionately. You can almost hear me purring from across the room!

I have such a sweet face... don’t you just love the white locket on my throat ?! I am a beautiful girl who will follow you around so that you can give me lots of attention. I really love gentle head rubs, kisses, full body pets, sitting on your lap and sleeping with you! Nap time or night time, I'm your snuggle girl and love to 'make biscuits' on your lap. How could you resist petting me ... my fur feels like black silk ?! I really am a 'people' kitty and will show you how much I love you by my loud purrrrr! I am not overly fond of other kitties, except for my brother, Martell .. I just don't like the competition for your affection. I do get along great with dogs though - at my foster mom's I actually do 'wheelies' to rub up against their black lab.

I'm also all about play time - catnip toys, chasing a bell ball and my all time favorite, running after a laser light. Don't you have a spot in your house for me - I'm such a love of a girl !

I am such a handsome boy and just like my sister Justine, I have a white locket on my throat. Some people tell me that I'm a big boy since I am fairly long and tall. But, please don't let my size fool you, I am just a gentle loving boy who is a purrrrrr machine! I am always happy, whether I'm watching the birds from the window, sitting on your lap or cuddling with you at nap time! If you'll scratch my head and ears, I'll even help you find the best spots by leaning into your hand. My favorite toys are a fuzzy mouse, catnip toys and a laser light. I love chasing after them when you play with me. I also love to run after a ball, hide in boxes, and chase after a string toy. Can't you find it in your heart to bring me home and love me forever?

As you can see from her pictures Topaz is just too cute! Her beautiful tortie coloring and her tabby stripes give her that unique torbie look.

Topaz came into our program as a young kitten. She loves attention - anytime I go near her she stands up and wants me to pet her. In fact she loves it so much her long slender tail quivers with excitement and she rewards me with a wonderful PURR! Topaz seeks out attention when she really wants it - she'll hop up onto my computer desk and walk back and forth while I pet her. And if I'm going upstairs she'll position herself at the bottom so I can pet her and then when I start to walk up the stairs she'll run up ahead of me and stop at the top so I can pet her some more.

Topaz loves other kitties and gets along well with our dog. She will compete with other kitties for your attention.

Topaz is a love of a kitty who needs a home that will appreciate her for who she is - a cat who loves affection and wants (even craves) to be pet but not picked up or held.

My sister (she has already been adopted) and I were saved from living in a storm drain during one of the coldest months this year. It took a couple of baths to get the dirt out of my fur, but it was worth it ... don't you think I am stunning?

I am pure white with a tiny black smudge on the top of my head, and my thick soft fur will remind you of a rabbit when you pet me.

Since my sister and I lived outside for the first few months of our lives, I can sometimes be a little timid. But once I settle in, I'll just about turn myself inside out making sure that you don't miss a spot when you pet me. I do have a few favorites - which you'll soon learn - scratch my chin and ears and I'll push right into your hand. You'll hear my purr motor kick in and see me prance back and forth to show you how happy I am !

I also love to snuggle - if your lap is available, I'll be in it... I'm a real snuggle puss and will definitely keep you company each night while you watch TV or just relax on the couch. So if you're looking for a lap kitten, I'm for you. And I don't mind sharing .. I get along great with other kitties ! I do need to be honest with you about one thing though - I'm not thrilled with being picked up or held. It still makes me a little nervous and I haven't been able to get past that.

Most people look at Azura and see her beautiful white fur, perhaps they pet her and see how 'rabbit-like' it is....but the really wonderful thing about Azura is her personality. She's a love - in fact Azura adores attention! The more you pet her ...the louder she purrs.

Azura loves to be petted and even picked up and held. She really loves to be around 'her' people. She will sit beside you as well as in your lap...especially if you are giving her lots and lots of attention.

Azura would be fine in a household with one other cat and even a calm dog. A multiple cat household would be too much for her - she likes other kitties but too many are overwhelming to her. Azura would do best in a household without small children.

Note: Azura gets scared at adoptathons - meeting her in private is recommended. This way you can see her in her own environment and you can see how loving she really is. She is a confident kitty and will adapt very easily to your home. Please give her the chance to get to know you.

One of the first things you will notice about me is how very silky and black my fur is - I just have a small white locket at my throat and pretty yellow eyes. When I was very small, I was one of over thirty kitties that an elderly couple was trying to care for....it became a bit too much for them, so I was trapped and given to my foster mom.

Although I still tend to have a quiet nature, I love attention and playtime. My favorite is to play hide and seek from under the bed and jump out at your feet as you walk by. I also love to curl up by your legs at night, have some one-on-one petting time and fall asleep by you. I have the cutest little squeaky meow that I use to remind you I'm ready for some cuddle time - and your biggest reward will be the loud puurrrr you hear, especially when you scratch my ears and head.

My mom says that I am one of the sweetest kittens she's ever had. Won't you come love on me and give me my forever home ??

I'm such a pretty girl - with just a hint of red and blond in my thick coat that sets off my green eyes! Although I am a quiet, non-assuming girl, I CRAVE attention. I love to rub my head against your face - and if you'll gently scratch my shoulders, I'll reward you with lots of loud purrs. Sometimes to get your attention, I'll start to do cute little moves which looks almost like I'm going to stand on my head. Then when you're tired and ready to settle onto the couch for the night, I'll be right by your side - snuggled against your leg .. and please, save a spot in bed for me too ! If you're too busy, I am also great at entertaining myself - especially if you have a window and a birdfeeder. I'm just a very content little girl !

You may notice from my picture that I have a 'notch' in my left ear ... that's because I was trapped when I was a young kitten. When they spayed me, they also marked my ear because they thought I would have to be released back outside. Imagine their surprise when I turned out to be friendly and rubbed my head against theirs. I started to purr and give quiet meows, to thank them for taking such great care of me and to ask for more attention !

I'm only a bit over a year, but I've been through a lot. When my rescuers found me, I was in rough shape. Even my little tail was broken. If you can believe it, someone left me in a bag on the side of the road. I got pretty sick, and I lost the vision in my right eye, but *I* am a survivor and I don't let it slow me down. I may look a little different, but it reminds me how good I have it now.

Everyone says that I am such a sweetheart; that's nice to hear, because I love everyone right back. I really enjoy being loved on. Can I count on you to give me the life of luxury that should be mine from now on?
