Beautiful Josephine was an outside cat born and bred. Her luck changed when she had her 3rd litter of kittens. The person who had been feeding her called us to see if we could rescue the kittens. They were born on Easter day and we found them under a tarp 2 days later. We then trapped Josephine so we could reunite her with her babies (we named them Bibbidi, Bobbidi and Boo -they've all been adopted!)
Josie was scared but let me handle both her and her kittens from the very beginning. Over time Josephine figured out that humans are good and that being loved on is a really nice feeling!
It's been an amazing journey with her from scared cat to one that hops happily into my lap and loves to rub her face against mine! Josie is a love bug - she adores attention!!! She will probably always be a 'look before you leap' type of kitty but once she's comfortable she will shower you with love!
Josie would enjoy a quiet home. Small children or a home with lots of 'action' would scare her. She likes other kitties but is not a big fan of dogs.
