Tarzan

Domestic Short  Hair - Gray Tabby

Male

Estimated Date of Birth  May 15, 2008

Name: Tarzan

My Stats: I’m a short hair grey tabby male.  I was born 5/15/08.  I’m almost done with my vaccinations, I’m neutered and I’m FIV/FLeuk negative.

Nickname:  Tigger, Sweety Pie

What’s your story:  I’m a really special kitten.  My siblings and I were abandoned on a 100+ degree day in a black box.  Wonderful human vet people rescued us and helped us survive!  Today I’m am a very healthy and energetic little boy.  My eye has a bit of scar tissue * on it but I can still see fine.  I think it makes me unique and dashing – sort of like a pirate!

My Favorite Toys:  All toys!  I love to play.  I love balls and strings and boxes and other kittens and that plastic ring thingey with the ball in it and straws and…. well you name it, I’ll play with it.

My Favorite Hobbies:  Ummmm – playing and eating.  But do you want to know a secret?  I like to be petted and told how wonderful I am while I’m being held or sitting in a lap.  Then I close my eyes, put my head in your hand and purr and purr.

Dream-home:  A place where I can play and get a lot of love.  Oh and kitty treats would be a good thing too.  If you would share your lap or chair with me that would be ideal.  I get along great with other cats and humans too.  I’m very patient with other cats because I have 5 siblings!  There are no dogs or kids at my foster home but I don’t think I will have a problem with them.  I’m not picky about food and I’m very good about the litter box.

Interesting facts about me:  I am very brave and curious.  I like to explore and investigate new things.  But here’s the kicker – I talk!  Yep – when I’m playing or exploring or just having fun, I chirp and squeak to tell you and my kitten buddies about what is going on.  If I wake up and I can’t find you, I’ll chirp until you tell me where you are.  Then I’ll come running so you can love me up.

Why should you adopt me?  I’m a sweet fun loving kitten!  I am all good – handsome, silly, well-behaved, loving and smart.  If you adopt me, I will love you with all my heart and I’ll bring a smile to your day every day.

* The scar tissue is from an eye ulcer I had before I was rescued.  My vision is still good in that eye however,  the scar tissue covers my tear duct so my eye does tear a bit more than usual.  When my eye 'weeps' it's not infectious and does not require further medical attention.
