Fundraising & Volunteer Opportunities
Fundraising is an important part of any rescue organization. We have many fundraising activities that you can help with; the money raised allows us to rescue more cats & kittens.
Fundraisers that are going on right now:
Used Book Drive - we're having a book sale in the fall as a major fundraiser. The more books we can collect, the more money we'll make for the kitties. If you can donate or collect books (ask friends, coworkers, family members if they'd like to clean out their book collections) for us it would really help us out a lot! We'll take any used books as well as used DVDs, CDs and VHS tapes.
"Fill Up The Truck" Fundraisers
at the Wake Forest Wal-Mart
The Wake Forest Wal-Mart is generously allowing us to hand out our Wish List Flyers and Hobbes House information and collect donations (items from the list and cash donations). We can use all of the help we can get!
Other Volunteer Opportunities
Foster Homes - you provide the love, we provide the kitty-in-need (we pay for all medical expenses).
Adoptathons - we take our kitties to local PetSmart and PetCo locations to meet potential adoptors. We need folks to come out and help show them off.
