Fundraising & Volunteer Opportunities
We depend on caring people who are committed to working as a team for the common
goal of rescuing cats and kittens. We work to make this a stress free environment,
while insuring we are courteous to fellow volunteers and maintain a good working relationship with other rescue groups.
If you are interested in improving the life of a stray / abandoned kitty, there are many ways you can help:
- Become a Foster Parent
- Help Transport kitties to local events
- Help out at Adoptathon events at the Brier Creek PetSmart
- Be involved in fundraising events
- Organize / Plan events
- Get others interested in joining our group

Fundraising is also an important part of any rescue organization. We have many fundraising
activities that you can help with; the money raised allows us to rescue more cats & kittens.
Current Fundraisers
- IGIVE : Shop online at over 700 brand name stores and a portion of each purchase will be donated to Hobbes House Feline Rescue ... your favorite stores, your cause, their money.
- GoodSearch: Use this search engine and 1 penny will be donated to Hobbes House for each valid search
- "Fill Up The Truck": We hand out our Wish List Flyers along with Hobbes House information, and collect donations (both items from the list along with cash / gift cards). We hold these on weekends for a few hours each day.
