Alfie:

I have beautiful fluffy white paws, chest and belly with a huge fluffy tail. My fur is extremely silky soft and I've been told it’s absolutely gorgeous. It's fluffed out a whole bunch since I moved in with my foster mom ... you can see the difference in my pictures !

I have a warm wonderful loud purr and I love giving and receiving head bumps from the other foster kitties. I live with several of them, and we all get along. I do the best with kitties that are laid back and friendly - it was hard living outside. I love my foster mom and am learning to trust other people that are sweet and gentle with me. You can tell when I'm really happy because I'll be kneading on my blankets or your tummy while you hold me on your lap.

I was rescued by my foster mom and moved to her house as an adult kitty, and it's taken me a while to get used to life inside - but I'm loving it and don't ever want to go outside again. I didn't purr or meow for some time but I've learned I have a great meow that mom loves to hear. And you've already heard about my amazing purr. In certain situations I can still get spooked, but they are becoming less and less frequent. I have so much love to give that mom has actually nick-named me Love-Bug.

Manhattan

Breed:Short Hair - Tabby
Color:Gray
Sex:Male
DOB:September 20, 2008
Manhattan

Manhattan:

Manhattan is a wonderfully sweet boy who is looking for his forever home. He was originally caught as an 8 week old kitten living in the storm drains near IBM in Durham. Shortly after this, he was adopted (along with his sister Mai Tai) to a great home. Due to unforseen cir-cumstances with his previous owners, he needed to be returned (along with his sister) to Hobbes House. He is a very loving/outgoing boy. He loves to be rubbed and will happily roll on his back and allow his belly to be loved. Toys are an important part of his day. Between naps on the cat climber in the window and playing with Karina/Twix, he stays happy. Consider giving this sweetie a good home?

Check out my 2 baby pictures!

  • Loves other cats
  • Loves to be petted
  • Enjoys Laps
  • Loves kids

Phineas

Breed:Short Hair - Tabby
Color:Orange and White
Sex:Male
DOB:July 30, 2005
Phineas

Phineas:

Phineas lived with his sister Lilly and their family for 7 years; they were given up when Lilly developed stones and needed surgery.

Lilly is now healthy and Phin and Lilly are adjusting to their foster home at the kind veterinary clinic. It's been an especially difficult transition for dear Phineas after 7 years living with his family; Lilly has stayed strong to help scared Phin, which has been such a blessing.

Phineas is extra special: he is very gentle, loving and sweet. Even though he is still quite shy he loves being petted and his purr is the best! Phin and Lilly just need a second chance with an extraordinarily loving person.

  • Super handsome and gentle
  • Is the sweetest boy
  • Has the best purr

Spot

Breed:Long Hair
Color:Black and White Cow Kitty
Sex:Male
DOB:June 26, 2010
Spot

Spot:

Spot has already been through more in his young life than any cat should ever have to experience and yet, through it all, he has been gentle, happy and loving with everyone he meets. He truly is a special boy!

When he arrived at the vet clinic, although he was close to starving, he continually impressed all of us with his happy disposition, innocent outlook on life, and wonderful loving energy. And he's super cute too! He's mostly white with some large splotches of black with gentle golden eyes.

Spot is putting on weight now that he's settled in and gotten used to having food available. After all he's been through, he needs an extra special and caring person to give him a loving forever home. We hope you'll take a moment to meet Spot; you'll be glad you did!
